Gaelic Postmarks, A display by NIPS member, Selwood Fitzpatrick to Lagan Valley Philatelic Society, February 2010.

The March 1922 directive of the Provisional Government indicated that Gaelic as the legally recognised language of Ireland would be used heneforth for Irish Postmarks. Selwood's display shows various changes to the different town post marks in Gaelic and English as well as a selection of sub office and parent office marks.
