The Federation of Northern Ireland Philatelic Societies Stamp Exhibition

The Federation present a Stamp Exhibition at Bangor Museum, Castle Park, Bangor BT20 4BT. The event runs daily from 10:00 to 16:30 each day between Tuesday 25th October to Friday 4th November 2011. Please note opening times on Sunday are 14:00- 16:30 and the event is closed on Monday 31st October. Daily Details are set out below:-

Tuesday 25th October - Sunday 30th October
ASPECTS OF PHILATELY - These displays will show the various ways in which stamps, postcards and other philatelic material may be collected,

Friday 28th October 19:30
THE USE OF PHILATELIC ITEMS IN FAMILY HISTORY AND POSTCARD COLLECTING. Short talks and displays by Lola Armstrong and Des Quail.

Saturday 29th October - Sunday 30th October
STAMP ACTIVE NETWORK - This schools group will give advice on how to start stamp collecting and provide free starter packs for beginners.

Monday 31st October - EVENT CLOSED to facilitate change over of displays

Tuesday 1st November - PHILATELY OF NORTHERN IRELAND.

Friday 4th November - VALUATION DAY. Corbitts of Newcastle Upon Tyne will give advice and value stamps.

Friday 4th November 19:30 - ITALY AND THE GREAT WAR, Closing Display band talk by David Sweeney.
